Classical goodness

You've done yet another great instrumental piece, Goodbyes aren't all sad, other languages have goodbye literally translated as "see you soon" or something with a happy reunion. We'll miss the entity we'll know as Nubbinownz. Please try to update your news and give us a link when you've got your album up. Im looking forward to it with both set of eyes and ears!

Perhaps you could hint us to what name you shall bestow upon yourself ?

one minute loop?

This is probably one of your only pieces that doesnt have any drums in it. Very classical and great use of the piano to flow through the entire piece, it feels very peaceful and the mood sets it right for an introduction for a movie perhaps, or even an ending with mixed emotions: the possibilities for this on an animation/feature is endless. And one minute? That's a very grand loop.

High scores from me *two thumbs*

Listened to this so much

I've never reviewed this when I heard this on newgrounds. The brain just clicked *Download this straight away*, And it's been lifting my head everytime Im straining my head over something tricky to think about. Everytime I listen to this, the mood never fails to lighten up.

This is probably one of your firsts in this genre, But It's amoungst the most best of them. Now time for complementary gift ranking!

Nubbinmix

I've heard Oscillist's one first. Then this one next.

And your drums just work so well on it. Less *crackling* glitching, and more chilled. Really gives an impression of fatigue and exhaustion, with only the mind going wild, thinking of how good it is to be back, yet thinking back to what a ride you've been through.

Awesome remix.
Of course, a complementary 10/10 5/5

nubbinownz responds:

i really do love oscillist's version. The only reason I remixed it was as a sign of thanks to him. That's in my opinion one of the highest forms of compliment as far as music goes. When someone takes the time to reimagine your song. It's because they heard something in your song in the first place. :D thank you for the review nanners :D

Wizards finale

The beginning is quite a refreshing change with the instruments. Once again very Rob Dougan like with the mix of both ends. And great use of strings as a means of progression into Nubbin time with the crazy drums. Can we ask of a more dramatic song from you? We can't but you always suprise us :D

Awesome news that you've found a place to stay.

Now all you need to do is release an album and get chucked into fame by us NG'ers. Best of luck on that :D.

nubbinownz responds:

It's on it's way. Thank you for all the wonderful reviews <3 and the adorable icon.

Space

You've really captured the open ness of the space. How someone would at first look at how vast the empty outer space is, then slowly looking at the other planets and finding the exciting wonders of the universe.

Another well made piece.

bang!

Energy at the first second. I click play and BANG!. music and crazy energy. This has really suprised me as much as all of your pieces. And once again your drums are absolutely perfect.

on the move and still working?

Man you cease to amaze me.
This sounds like quite a nice break from your piano usage. I really look forward to the released album.

nubbinownz responds:

I want to get back into the piano thing again that's for sure, so keep an eye out for those. Thanks a bunch bro :D

perfect echo'ing

The use of echo'ing really brings out this piece. Not too much. not too little. Just spot on. when the drums kick in was intense and really suits the title.

Im actually suprised nobody has yet used this in an animation.

Reminds me of someone..

This kinda reminds me of SGX's piece "Tell me a story". Forgot which mix it was since he made around 4 different mixes of it.
The glitching just has the same feel and effect. No there isn't too much glitching, the glitch is the music and it works so well. If it's true that this is one of your first glitch song. It's a pretty well made one at that.

A funny thing about life: accidents are loved by intellects and hated by economists.
